This modest series was inspired by the chance event of finding my late father’s WWII dog tag. I had not looked at it carefully since my childhood.

Examining it, I realized it held the address of his next of kin, my grandparents. I remembered visiting their home as a child, but I remember the interior (and playing there with my cousins) far more vividly than it's physical location.

I started thinking of locations from my youth, significant markers in my life. Making photographs of these places, that are interesting to anyone other than me, presents a couple of challenges. How do I make my nostalgia visually compelling? What locations are significant enough for memorializing? What moments can I still remember and locate?

This is, accidentally, my first series shot digitally. A broken wrist put me in a cast for several months, and my old 35mm Canon F-1 is kinda heavy, so...
